This Unit an ISO: 9001-2000 Company incorporated on 24th February 1995 in the industrial City of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu and have its factory at Annur (30 kms from Coimbatore). This first foundry at Annur started with an initial object of producing MS Ingots. Thereafter from the year 2002 the unit diversified into a steel and alloy Steel Castings Manufacturing Company. It produces Castings from our Annur plant to International Standards having in mind to cover all the requisite parameters in manufacturing Value Added Castings. Our Annur Factory has a 3.5 Ton Furnace Capacity which is being fully utilized to manufacture alloy steel castings as per the requirement of the Customers. The weight of the single piece of Castings ranges from 50 kgs to 2,000 kgs. Our prestigious client list includes Audco India Ltd, BHEL, BEML, Shanthi Gears Ltd, CaterPillar (India) Ltd, Shri Ram EPC Ltd and the list is growing. The steel casting division is in advance stage of expansion program by setting up 7.5 ton induction furnace capacity with the weight of single piece to 7,500 kgs. The end users of our Castings are Heavy Engineering, Earth Moving Equipments, Petrochemical Industries, Power Plants, Railways, Mining Industry, Automobiles, etc.,

As the Western Countries closing down their foundries due to non-availability of skilled labour, the Indian market for Castings is increasing and hence the projected sales targets are met. Needless to say about our delivery commitments are competitively priced, well received in the market and our company has made a mark in the Alloy Steel Casting Industry.

In the year 1999 another unit was set up at industrial area of Karaikal in Union Territory of Pondicherry. This unit is an ISI certified entity. We are manufacturing TMT Rods, MS Ingots which will lead to 100% captive consumption for our Re-rolling Mill and it is enhancing our overall functional facilities and profitability. The process is to manufacture more value added products like MS Flats, Rounds, Rods and Squares which have a wide application in Industrial, fabrication, construction and other infrastructure Industries. The total capacity of the re-rolling mill is 200 tons per day.

All the TMT rods and sections manufactured from this plant are marketed under the brand name “SURIYA SUPER STRONG TMT” rods. By branding our products and also through effective advertisement media the product is well received from all the sections of the Society.

Our Kanjikode unit is incorporated on 16th January 2002 and the factory has a 5 ton Furnace capacity which is being utilized to manufacture MS Ingots. The market demand for the MS Ingot is very good and there has been steady growth in demand for the product manufactured by us at our Kanjikode unit.

The new project set up at Pudukkottai at a total cost of Rs.25 Crores to produce value added Steel Castings and MS Ingots. This unit will function as integrating the group projects by supporting and supplying MS Ingots to our steel rolling mills in order to achieve the initial capacity production of “SURIYA SUPER STRONG TMT” rods and sections. This project has commenced its commercial production during May 2009.

Sri Venakteshwara Steel Re-Rolling Mill was set-up in 1996 and is steadily producing about 900 metric tons per month of different rolled products. This is helping us very much in reaching better overall profitability in the operations of the group of companies.

We Sri Padmabalaji Group of Companies manufacture Ferro Silicon in different grades as per the specifications of our clients. The Ferro Silicon is an alloy which is abundantly used in the steel casting and steel manufacturing process. Depending on the processes, Ferro Silicon can be used as the de-oxidizing agent or as the reducing agent for the production of low carbon alloys. Ferro Silicon is used in the production of corrosion resistant & high-temperature resistant ferrous silicon alloys, used in transformer cores as well as electro motors.
